A new year is a time for reflection, gratitude and generosity — and thanks to Goodfellows donors across our community, we know the spirit of giving is alive and well. The Omaha World-Herald began Goodfellows as a holiday-driven initiative to support families facing hardship, poverty or other challenging circumstances. Today, it remains a trusted source of hope, helping families meet essential needs like food, clothing, shelter and medical care.

Over the last six months, through Goodfellows investments in 211 alone…
175 families have received support with housing and utilities
300 families have received food assistance
